Clinical Pathology Laboratories

The 57357 Clinical Pathology laboratories provide high-quality, integrated laboratory services through the team effort of our valued employees. The department supports 57357 in accomplishing all its identified missions, goals, objectives, and strategic plans.

A complete total lab automation system was introduced as part of our continuous lab improvement projects. This is a crucial development to enable the successful processing of our large daily volume of samples through high throughput analyzers, allowing for uninterrupted delivery of vital patient services when instrument maintenance or unexpected downtime occurs. This large-volume lab operates with minimal direct technologist handling.

Hence, the fully automated labs help simplify operations – both reducing manual reliance and maximizing patient safety, enhancing efficiency, and reducing expenses, increasing the overall quantity and quality of clinical services. This enables us to make the adult population benefit from our surplus services production of the automated labs at a preferential cost. Also, the next generation sequencing, flow cytometry, molecular biology, and all our core competencies of unique lab services are offered to the adult population at a reasonable price and the highest quality.

All lab services provided are to contribute to the treatment journey of children with cancer.

Hours of Operation:

• Operate 24 hours daily, 7 days weekly for inpatients and emergency cases.
• Staff daily working hours: Sunday – Thursday 07:00 – 16:00 and 24-hour on-call availability.
• Outpatient Phlebotomy (Paid service for adults) (3rd Floor) - Every day (Except Friday): 08:00 – 20:00
