The success achieved in this place reflects the success of those who granted it their trust and donations. You have touched every body’s feeling, rich, poor, educated or uneducated. Everything I saw today reflects great management, I wish this successful model would be replicated.”
These were the words of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghafar, the minister of high education and research during his visit to Hospital 57357. The minister was warmly welcomed by 57357’s top management, Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, the chairman of the board of trustees, and Dr. Sherif Abou Alnaga, CEO of the Hospital and the 57357 group, and some of the 57357’s patients, physicians and administrative staff..
The ministry of high education and research pledges to sponsor the training cost of 10 of 57357’s doctors and researchers.
In his address to the audience, the minister expressed his desire to cooperate with 57357 in many fields. “You have succeeded in establishing an operational system that does not depend on a certain person but on a set of processes and evidence-based practices, and I would be proud to be a part of this success”, said the Minister, highlighting the potential areas of collaboration with the Hospital namely research, hospital management, healthcare education and training.
The minister announced that the ministry will sponsor the training cost of 10 of 57357’s doctors and researchers for 6 months, to contribute to preparing highly qualified professionals who would benefit the hospital and the whole society.`
The minister toured the different Hospital sections and visited some children in their rooms. The minister expressed his appreciation for 57357’s world quality care provided to all children, equally and for free. He said that the hospital’s performance and services are comparable to the ones found in world class hospitals.
