Overview
Mitochondrial function, metabolism, and redox biology are disciplines that are fundamental to our understanding of human biology, physiology and diseases. Assessments of Mitochondrial functions and redox biology are integral components in modern studies of cancer biology, and are currently exploited to identify novel approaches to enhance efficacy and reduce adverse effects in cancer therapies. Our laboratory integrates a number of methodologies utilizing cutting-edge instrumentations for the assessments of metabolic pathways, cellular redox-status, and membrane dynamics in various biological and clinical specimens.
