Dental Clinic
Overview
The dental clinic in CCHE is located on the first floor of the facility and caters to all children under treatment. Children under chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgical treatment are all included in free dental service provided by the hospital.
Our scope of service includes full dental treatment, which includes all dental restorative procedures such as root canal treatments and restorations; also all dental surgical procedures such as extractions, apicectomies and minor surgical procedures that can be performed under local anesthetic. These services are provided as part of the actual treatment as in the case of oral malignancies, or in the case of patient planned to undergo bone marrow transplant, or as part of the supportive care for all children under treatment.
The facility is equipped with 4 operating rooms that include periapical radiographs and a LASER device, an assessment room and a Panoramic radiograph room.
Our doctors are a mix of all dental specialties – mostly pediatric – to ensure the delivery of the best care we can provide.
The department also provides a full dental service under general anesthetic located at the second floor, this service is intended for younger children and those with mental disturbance.
