Genomics & Epigenomics Research Program

We are a specialized research laboratory in CCHE 57537 that is equipped with state-of-the high-throughput genomic analysis technologies. Our laboratory has a full pipeline of equipment and protocols to support effective molecular biology research in various areas such as whole genome sequencing, whole exome sequencing, microbiome profiling, RNA sequencing, and other disciplines. We are a team of highly trained and skilled professionals from diverse scientific backgrounds, biotechnologists, geneticists, microbiologists, pharmacists, and bioinformaticians that came together to form this unit.

By the end of the internship, the intern shall be able to:

• Understand and apply the fundamental principles of different molecular biology techniques; such as nucleic acid extraction, samples quality assessment.
• Learn how to employ different techniques to serve his study.
• Understand the structural and mechanistic aspects of molecular biology.
• Understand different experimental approaches for solving problems and effectively working towards making new discoveries in basic research.

Duration: 2 days/ week for 4 weeks
(Mondays and Wednesdays)

Both undergraduate and fresh graduate from medical ,biotechnological ,pharmaceutical, Agricultural, and scientific tools
