57357 volunteers play an important role in lifting up the spirits of the patients: they befriend them and are always reaching out to them to entertain them and to make them happy.
On the occasion of the Eid, groups of volunteers and their friends multiplied their visits to the hospital bringing gifts and money donations, and organized numerous entertaining activities to bring some sunshine into the lives of patients with the upcoming of the Eid.
Through the realization of wishes activity of the volunteers, 4 in-patient children saw their wishes come true. Also, a special workshop was set up to handcraft the lamb of the Eid on the third and fourth floors of the Hospital and a singing puppet show was presented in the day-care on the first floor. Volunteers also engaged the children in making festive Eid cards and a workshop for the children in the out-patient and third floor areas was organized by the Emanuel church service group.
