Staff’s Children Nursery

Since its establishment, Hospital 57357 management has been keen to establish a nursery for staff’s children to guarantee employees’ peace of mind and stability, especially doctors, nurses, and female employees, contributing to performance improvement and increased productivity.

The role performed by the nursery:

The vision of Hospital 57357’s management for the nursery for the staff’s children goes beyond a place for them to spend time while their parents are working. As such, they pursue teaching children basic sciences and languages through nursery. Educational programs were prepared for each age category according to the following directives:

  • Developing the child’s capabilities in learning, cognitive skills, thinking, understanding, and imagination.
  • Training the child on being independent during the period he stays away from the parents while they are at work.
  • Teaching the child communicational skills starts with the synchronized movement for one-year-olds, speaking, reading, Searching for each child’s hobby, and working on developing it and drawing for three-year-olds.
  • Developing the child’s conversation skills and ability to express his thoughts and feelings.
  • Searching for each child’s hobby and working on developing it.
  • Developing children’s feelings of gratitude, self-confidence and expressing their desires.

The nursery caretakers

Considering the staff nursery as a preschool, there were certain required conditions and qualifications to be met by the staff, the most important of which are the following:

  • Having basic sciences for the pre-school stage.
  • English, French, and German languages, where these languages are taught to nursery children.
  • Having patience while dealing with children and the ability to interact with them.
  • Ability to direct each child based on his capabilities and hobbies.
  • Ability to understand the child’s psychology and emotions, especially during early years.

The nursery achievements:

  • Doubling the number of children that are admitted, where it used to host 135 children and offer them all services and entertainment activities.
  • Offering breakfast meals for children aged two years or more, where the nursery accepts children from the age of three months to four years.
  • Establishing classes for teaching Arabic, English, French, German, math, and science.
  • Setting up a program for children’s admission and departure.
  • Teaching children how to pray and read the Quran.
  • Holding an entertainment day every week.
  • Dedicating time to fitness exercises three times a week.
  • Sanitizing the nursery every two hours.
  • A medical checkup service in the emergency department was added.
  • Hosting children from the age of three months instead of six months.
  • A weekly meeting should be held for teachers to improve their efficiency.
  • Placing furniture that suits children’s age, height, and colors.
  • Placing a suitable screen where children watch cartoons and musical programs.

The nursery beneficiaries:

The nursery’s beneficiaries are 192 employees, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff. The number of children registered in the nursery is 274 children.
