Dr. Hussam Hijazi obtained his medical degree at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. His residency in radiation oncology was at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis and its affiliated Centre Antoine Lacassagne hospital. He completed his 2 years of fellowship at the University of Montreal, Canada in GI and GU malignancies. He is a member of the curriculum scientific group for the radiation oncology residency program at the Saudi commission for health specialties.
