Hospital 57357 welcomed the regional director of Yoho in Egypt, a star product of world renowned social media company MICO Co., on her second visit to the Hospital. The visit falls within MICO’s corporate social responsibility, through which it supports charitable medical facilities, schools, orphanages and affected areas in more than 150 country and region around the world, that use the company’s products and applications with more than 100 million users.
Our guest was accompanied by Mr. Islam Ramadan, representative of the 57357 Foundation’s outreach to companies department during a tour in the Hospital’s sections. She met with the children and was introduced to the latest services using the world latest equipment offered by the Hospital to children with cancer equally for free. “I am happy for coming back to visit the children and seeing them laughing despite their pains”, commented the regional director. The advanced labs and technology such as the cyberknife that I have seen here today inspired me, and made me more enthusiastic to support the Hospital, she added. She offered a generous donation from MICO Co. the founder of Yoho, to support 57357’s children’s treatment journey.
It is noteworthy that Yoho was founded in 2018, with its headquarter in Beijing, it has branches in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Later in 2020, it was acquired by Newborn Town Inc. which has more than 10 external offices in Thailand, USA, Indonesia, Egypt, Turky, Malaysia and Pakistan. The group currently has more than 500 employees around the world.
It is known that Yoho is a voice social communication application that connects a big number of users around the world. It encourages getting to know different cultures and voice activities through the application; besides offering a number of games and sending gifts through the application.
