On his Instagram account, the actor Hesham Magued expressed his happiness with his visit to Hospital 57357 while asserting that 57357 is a great Institution and a source of pride for Egypt. He longed for sustainability of donations so that the Hospital could maintain the quality of care it provides to a large number of children with cancer. “I am grateful to my friend Ayman Elghazaly for inviting me to visit Hospital 57357”, said Magued. I feel proud every time I visit the Hospital, the continuous up-grading of the facility and equipment is evident. Moreover the activities they engage children in are an effective part of the treatment. “May God reward each and every contributor to the great Hospital, and I wish that the donations would continue to abound to enable the Hospital to maintain the high quality services it offers”, he added.
Dr. Ayman Elghazaly, head of the Hospital’s website content, and Mr. Mohamed Raafat, member of the public relations team welcomed the actor and accompanied him on a tour of the Hospital’s different sections.
The actor offered the children nice gifts in the daycare and the art therapy recreation center. He also visited the clinical pharmacy and the Cyberknife unit. While Magued was visiting the recreation center, Rahma, a cancer survivor and former patient who is a student in the faculty of fine art, drew a portrait of the actor and gave it to him as a gift.
Magued was keen to bond with the children by chatting and taking pictures with them.
