Ahmed is bravely battling cancer at 57357 where he wants to volunteer to help his peers.

Our hero Ahmed is 6years old and comes from Shobra El Kheima neighborhood. He was admitted to 57357 in July 2022. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor which required a prompt surgical intervention. After the tumor was removed, Ahmed started chemo sessions which are about to be completed. He is to receive the last two and looking forward hopefully and courageously to the completion of his treatment journey. Ahmed’s mom: My son is back to life thanks to Almighty God and to Hospital 57357. I am also back to life. When Ahmed was severely sick and I was helpless, not knowing what to do to calm his pain, people advised me to go to Hospital 57357; but others claimed that they would not accept him. Yet, I was determined to go as this was our last recourse.When we arrived at the Hospital, we were admitted in less than an hour and I was taken by the concern and resolve of all healthcare professionals to save my son’s life.My heart rejoiced as I started to be reassured and comforted. Thanks be to God, his surgery was successful. His condition improved and he started chemo sessions. Despite his fatigue during the sessions, he was still enthusiastic to go to the day-care where he played with the volunteers, and was entertained by visitors and benevolent people.Truly, this hospital gave me positive energy and hope in the future. I am more confident that he will recover completely and be back to normal life like the other children.Ahmed is fond of Dr. Mohamed Reda, Dr. Osama El Refai, and Miss Shaimaa who were always there to encourage him. God bless and protect the Hospital and all its staff; may they always rejoice as they brought joy to my heart.Chatting with Ahmed, he shared: I love Hospital 57357 because it cured my pains, I no longer feel fatigue and stopped getting headaches. When I will be healed completely, I will be a volunteer at the hospital to cheer up my counterparts and help them recover.
