With the participation of a large number of researchers from Egypt and outside Egypt, Hospital 57357’s continuous education and development department organized a forum for young researchers. The forum was headed by Dr. Manal Zamzam, head of the continuous education administration. It presented experiences of young researchers from 8 countries, namely Egypt, Portugal, America, Germany, Ireland, Spain, France and Japan, in the specialties of medicine, science, agriculture, biotechnology and nutrition.

The forum aimed to highlight the different experiences of young researchers and to present their scientific and clinical research studies. All young researchers stressed on the fact that traveling abroad is considered a first step for realizing their dreams, despite the challenges they may face. The forum was the idea of Mohamed Abdullah one of Hospital 57357’s cancer survivors, a post graduate student from Illinois University who works for 57357’s clinical pathology lab.

A large number of graduates and researchers from faculties of medicine participated in the forum that spanned two days, by attending personally or through video conferencing.

Dr. Sherif Abouel Naga, the 57357 group’s CEO and the Hospital’s general manager stressed on the importance of research work and its role in developing healthcare services in general and at 57357 in particular.

The young researchers who presented their experiences, asserted that the most important characteristics of a good researcher are, to be a reader, to have the ability of analyzing information and to find correlations to reach new results. Each researcher should learn how to maximize his own abilities and to put to good use his passion for learning different disciplines either through studying a new field or engaging in research work or experiments that would ultimately result in establishing new theories that are put into practice. This is precisely what Egypt is in need of presently to enhance, develop, and innovate in different fields.

The forum included a number of lectures and discussion sessions, in addition to  scientific activities which presented information in an entertaining way. These activities were made possible thanks to  Nilco Co. for children’s educational toys, who designed toy models for adults.

On the sideline of the forum, Gesr association offered 20 grants for the research preparation program, as the association is engaged in exchanging expertise between Egypt and Germany.

Biosin Co. for research and educational services offered a number of the attendees a free training program on how to prepare for research work

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the forum’s success:  Convera Co for the organization of the conference, Biosyn Co, Ricrac Co, Nilco Co, Let’s capture Co., the Viral Co., Easy Group Co., Career Co.and Gesr association.
