By the end of this internship participants will be able to:

• Understanding various definitions and philosophies of quality, patient safety and safety culture
• Apply quality principles and tools to solve quality problems in real-world scenarios relevant to the course.
• Understand enterprise risk management.
• Recognize data management concepts
• Demonstrate skills in analyzing data to identify quality issues and measure performance.
• Understand healthcare quality improvement methodology
