Hospital 57357 welcomed a visit from the central administration of foreign students affairs of the ministry of high education, headed by Dr. Ahmed Abdel Ghani, president of the administration accompanied by a group of foreign students enrolled in various Egyptian faculties, such as the faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences, and Computer Sciences. The guests were welcomed by Dr. Sherif Abouelnaga, 57357 group CEO and the Hospital general manager, Dr. Manal Zamzam, head of the Hospital’s continuous education and development department and some members of the Hospital’s management. This visit is within the framework of “study in Egypt” and “EgyAID” initiatives, which aim to prompt high education in Egypt, and to attract foreign students to Egyptian educational institutions.
Dr. Abouelnaga welcomed the representatives of the Ministry of high education and the foreign students. He gave a presentation about the establishment of the Hospital, the challenges it faced, the reasons of its continuous success and the Hospital’s dependence on continuous education and research, to offer the best treatment to children with cancer using the latest technology.
Dr. Abdel Ghani expressed his delight with the visit saying :our visit today is under the patronage of the Ministry of high education and aims at getting to know Hospital 57357, being a project that is considered a success story within Egypt’s healthcare sector. It is a unique institution for the provision of medical services and professional development, offering advanced training programs for university students during and after graduation. During our visit today, we noticed a great interest in and development of their research work. We came across their advanced treatment capabilities. Today the students were introduced to the latest treatment and services offered by the clinical pharmacy and the cyberknife and the latest world technology applied in all departments.
Cooperation channels between the central administration of foreign students affairs of the Ministry of high education and Hospital 57357 were explored. As appreciation for Hospital 57357’s role , Dr. Abdel Ghani offered a trophy “study in Egypt” to Dr. Abouelnaga and Dr. Zamzam.
Hospital 57357’s visit by foreign students, is considered an important step towards building educational and cultural bridges between Egypt and the world, which contributes to encouraging innovation and sustainable development in the medical and health sciences field.
