In a new step towards enhancing leadership capabilities and developing the skills of medical and administrative staff, the Continuous Education and Development Department at Hospital 57357 organized an advanced workshop entitled “Leadership Empowerment”. The workshop was presented by Dr. Abdelrahman Fouda, a prominent international expert in pharmacy and leadership, and a principal investigator at the Neurovascular Protection Laboratory in the United States. He is also an assistant professor of pharmacy at the University of Arkansas, College of Medicine and an assistant professor of clinical pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University. Dr. Fouda provided valuable insights that greatly enriched the workshop.

The workshop, held at Hospital 57357, included three comprehensive sessions targeting physicians, medical engineering staff, and administrators. The sessions focused on developing middle management leadership skills and effective preparation for assuming leadership positions. Dr. Fouda addressed how to enhance leadership skills, prepare teams for leadership roles, and the importance of innovation and effective collaboration.
