Khadija, a 3 and a half year old from Ismailia, is a beautiful angel and a 57357 patient survivor. She loves everyone she meets. In July 2023, our brave little fighter was admitted to the hospital where tests confirmed she had leukemia. She wasted no time in starting chemotherapy under the expert care of Dr. Iman Sidhom, a pediatric oncologist at 57357.
Khadija’s journey battling cancer was tough, but she faced it with courage and a beautiful smile. In May 2024, after the periodic tests showed an improvement in Khadija’s condition and stability, her treating physician decided to start a follow-up phase every two months. In the last follow-up, the bone marrow analysis confirmed the absence of any traces of cancer, and that Khadija is in good health. Alhamdulillah, our brave little fighter is back to her old self, playing and running around like any other child.
Khadija’s mother says: ‘Before, I thought the hospital’s advertisements were just publicity. But after experiencing it and seeing with my own eyes the doctors’ treatment, the great care Khadija received, and all the wonderful things they do for our children, I now donate to the hospital. I encourage everyone to help because Hospital 57357 deserves every donation and every penny because they serve our children with these donations.
Thank God Khadija! We’re so happy you’re healthy again. We hope all the brave kids at 57357 get well soon too. May God heal everyone.
