Completion Certificates for the First cohort of Students

“We learned and enjoyed the hands-on experiments and lectures.. and we were amazed by the capabilities of the equipment and laboratories at 57357”

Hospital 57357 celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of students from the Future Scientists Club program, which is a unique and enjoyable scientific program that is organized periodically, and aims to promote a culture of scientific research among students aged 10-17.

The program covers a variety of activities over five days that cater to all scientific interests and inclinations to help our children discover their skills and determine their future path.

The program’s activities include simplified scientific lectures, hands-on experiments, and recreational activities. Through the program, students learn about the principles of artificial intelligence, genetics, cell biology, and pharmacy.

Students gain knowledge in the field of medical engineering by learning about medical devices and how they work. The program also aims to develop scientific thinking by developing soft skills such as time management, leadership skills, and working within a successful team, in addition to learning human values such as giving, and respecting others. The program includes some recreational activities throughout the day.

At the end of the program, students receive certificates of completion in a ceremony attended by their families.

Learning, enjoyment, and amazement

Selim Islam : I’ve always loved science subjects, and I always dreamed of seeing an equipped lab and doing experiments with my own hands. My dream came true here at 57357. During the program, we entered amazing labs and conducted many experiments. We were supervised by great researchers and scientists who guided us and explained things to us in a simple way. We learned a lot from them throughout the program.

Jomana Khaled. 16 years:

This program helped me and my classmates choose our field of study because we discovered that the scientific field is fascinating and enjoyable, especially when we applied practical experiments and made products with our own hands, such as disinfectants, creams, sprays, and others. We also took lectures on bacteria and cells, isolated DNA and RNA, and learned the difference between them. We also studied simplified information about drugs, their concentrations, and how they affect the human body.

Ahmed Wesam, 15 years:

The thing I enjoyed most was just playing tennis. I thought the Future Scientists Club would be boring, but I discovered the opposite. I had a wonderful week, as if I was on an enjoyable trip to a different place. I enjoyed scientific lectures supervised by leading professors, and I also enjoyed human development lectures and recreational activities. I told my friends about the new things I learned, and many of them wanted to join.

Karma Amr:

The professors who taught us in the program made us love scientific subjects and taught us many other valuable things that will help us develop our ideas, personalities, and determine our future.

The thing that amazed me the most was the cutting-edge equipment available at the hospital, especially the CyberKnife device. We learned from the professors that it is a highly advanced technology that treats tumors without harming surrounding tissues. My classmates and I were proud to know that this sophisticated device is available in Egypt.

Youssef Khaled Hassan, 14 years:

I have a strong passion for science, and I was captivated as I learned about cells, bacteria, and genes in a hands-on setting. The most remarkable aspect of the program was that it went beyond just scientific subjects. It also included lectures that taught us how to develop our skills, think critically, and make sound decisions in life.

Mohamed Mahmoud Elshobki, 12 years :

I was amazed by the equipment and laboratories, and I was thrilled to see such significant scientific advancements in Egypt. One of the things I enjoyed most was making friends in the program and learning about teamwork. We formed a scientific team, worked together on experiments, and genuinely developed a strong passion for science after participating in this program.
