During a big celebration at the Isa cultural center in Bahrain, in attendance of many Bahrainis, Arab and international dignities, 57357 received the Isa award for service to humanity. The event was held under the patronage of Bahrain’s monarch, his highness Hamad Ben Isa Al Khalifa, who handed the award to Dr. Amr Salama, 57357’s chairman of the board of trustees. The attendees included Dr. Sherif Abu Alnaga, the CEO of 57357 Group and the General Manager of Hospital 57357, Mr. Lotfi Elbadrawi, the President of the Association of Friends of the National Cancer-free Initiative and Dr. Wael Eweida, the deputy director and the operating manager of 57357.
The hospital was selected from among many humanitarian projects from all around the world, revealed his highness King Hamad Ben Isa Al Khalifa. The judgement committee studied all the projects and selected five winners where Hospital 57357 came on the top of the list.
The Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt is one of the most renowned healthcare Institutions in the Arab world which accomplished great success in cancer treatment of children under 18, through its provision of free, high quality services in Egypt and the Arab World, thanks to its adoption of the latest treatment protocols and its reliance on research and evidence-based practices.
Hospital 57357 deservedly earned the award for the comprehensive quality care it delivers and for its unique vision and provision for the future. This vision is being realized through the establishment of a Health Sciences Training Academy in collaboration with U.S. renowned Cancer centers and Academic institutions.
Soha Alfar, Egypt’s ambassador in Bahrain revealed that granting the Isa award to Hospital 57357 is considered a great honor for its moral value as it is awarded under the patronage of King Hamad Ben Isa Al Khalif, who is always supporting humanitarian and charity projects inside and outside of Bahrain.
