Within the framework of the Hospital’s pursuit of continuous upgrading of equipment and technics of treatment and diagnosis, the Hospital acquired latest CT equipment to be used in bones surgeries.
According to Dr. Ahmed Alghoneimy, it is a three dimensional trans-sectional equipment used during bones and joints tumors surgeries. The equipment enables more precision and less time of surgeries and accordingly raising success rate, as it enables the surgeon to see a three dimensional image which help specifying the best place to reach the tumor. It also enables complete and precise removal of the tumor which reduces complications during the surgery and improves the results.
The equipment that is considered latest imaging technology is produced by Siemens.
