The guests were welcomed by Dr. Mohamed Aggag, head of ECN Canada, who thanked them for their continuous support for 57357’s children, and joined them on a tour of the Hospital and the new expansions location.
The tour started with the research department to inform them about the equipment that ECN Canada donated. They also visited the art therapy workshop and the day care where they offered the children nice gifts,
The community youth pray for 57357’s children healing
Inside the Hospital’s church father Angelious held prayers for quick healing for the Hospital’s patients, and for Egypt and its faithful sons and daughters with the school youth sharing in the prayers.
Engineer Adel Youssef, head of 57357’s projects: presently,we dedicate our efforts to the completion of the expansion projects.
On the expansion location, Eng. Youssef welcomed the guests and showed them the latest achievements at the expansion site: today, we are in front of one of 57357’s most important expansion projects, the outpatient clinics building which will include besides the outpatient clinics, the radiotherapy rooms, diagnostic imaging and a clinical pharmacy. Thanks be to God, we have finished 92% of the concrete work, and will start building a bridge to connect the new building to the Hospital building. Construction of the bridge will last 8 months, as we dedicate all of our efforts to the project and face daily challenges with patience and devotion. Our goal is to provide the best care for children with cancer, and our workers have a great sense of responsibility towards their duties.
Father Angelious, CEO of the Canadian Coptic center: it is delighting to visit such a great Hospital as 57357, and with respect to the expansion we are in front of a monumental project of which we saw the beginnings during our previous visit. Today as we see it nearing completion, we are confident that any action that contributes to its establishment, deserves our support. We wish to see the expansion project completed soon.
Ms. Fiby Wasfy, head of the Egyptian community school: I am so happy to visit such a great place as 57357 which provides world quality services to children for free. In our last visit the expansion buildings were just starting to be built, today we are proud to see the achievements you have reached. I would like to invite everyone to support the Hospital and its noble causes.
Dina and Juana, members of the delegation: we are delighted to see that quality services are provided to patients equally with love and dedication and for free.
Dr. Mohamed Aggag, head of ECN Canada: it is pleasure to welcome you in the Hospital, you are faithful Egyptian youth and we are proud of your solidarity actions. I invite you to look up our different training programs as it would be a good opportunity for promoting your knowledge and expertise. We wish to welcome you again and again in 57357 and we are sure that with every visit you will see new achievements realized because of your support.
At the end of the visit Dr. Aggag received a generous donation check from the delegation’s youth and the Canadian Coptic center.
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian community school is part of a large network of charitable people and groups in Canada who are supporting our children by donating to Egypt Cancer Netwrk Canada, a non=profit association affiliated to 57357 which provides the Hospital with equipment and other valuable resources. For example, in 2019, ECN Canada donated to the Hospital equipment for the value of 500 thousand Canadian dollar.
We are grateful to the charitable people of the Egyptian community in Canada for their valuable on-going support. Thanks to your contributions, our children will pursue their treatment journey and defeat cancer!
