A message from Jasmin’s mother: thank you, because of your donations my daughter receives treatment and will be healed, God willing, keep supporting our children in 57357
Our children in 57357 are heroes who bravely go through their treatment journey with all of its pains and challenges. Jasmin, a 5 year old girl, is fighting cancer in the belly. She was admitted to 57357 in February 2020, and started her treatment journey with chemotherapy sessions. Thanks be to God, she became better and she is determined to pursue her treatment and defeat cancer. In every corner of the Hospital, Jasmin has friends, she likes the third floor nurses who gave her a stethoscope toy and a gown as a gift, to encourage her to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor in 57357.
Jasmin’s mother recalls her daughter’s first encounter with the disease: she had a severe fever that didn’t respond to medication. After x-rays and blood tests one of the doctors told us to go directly to 57357. I was shattered and scared she wouldn’t be admitted; where else would I find a qualified doctor to treat her? We came and met with the consultant, Dr. Yasser Yousef who calmly explained to us her condition, and told us that it is curable, God willing, and that she will start with chemotherapy.
Jasmin’s mother goes on: In the beginning I was scared, but soon my fears subsided as I witnessed the compassionate quality treatment and care my daughter was receiving. One of the nurses always accompanied us to explain everything; doctors took care of my daughter as if she were their only patient. I found out that they treated all children the same way. Despite the chemotherapy side effects, my daughter was laughing, drawing and coloring, her condition was improving and she liked the Hospital. She used to wait for the day we would come to the Hospital to see her new friends: doctors, third floor nurses and employees. I like the Hospital too, they alleviated the burden of my daughter’s sickness and reassured me.
A message from Jasmin’s mother:
57357 granted me hope that Jasmin will recover. To all the Hospital’s donors, I am grateful to all of you, thanks to your donations my daughter is granted a second chance at life, God willing. Keep supporting the Hospital, it is the safety boat that is carrying our children to the shores of cure,.Without the existence of 57357, where would we treat our children, may God bless all of its workers who are always standing by our children.
Jasmin continues her treatment journey, and with your support, she will defeat cancer and we will celebrate her and her healing, God willing.
