Visits and donations from school students for our children
Within the scope of work of the school outreach department of the 57357 foundation of communicating with school students to maintain their continuous support for 57357’s children, the department received 10 visits of students of private and public schools throughout the month of October and the beginning of November. During the visits, the students gave moral support to the patients and provided donations in contribution to the charity trust of Egypt’s school students. The students also made a donation from their allowances to offer three infusion pumps that are essential in chemotherapy administration and for other therapies too.
In gratitude for the great support of school students that didn’t stop throughout 14 years of operation for and to keep communication channels opened between school students and their counterparts in the Hospital, a delegation from the schools’ outreach department along with the Hospital’s infection control team visited a group of schools inside and outside Cairo, (namely Horizon private school in Belbais way, the International School in Alexandria, Ahmed Elshazly School, Alrowad School, ICB School, Moslem Youth School) where they held awareness lectures about infection control, protection from diseases and healthy nutrition. The visits were welcomed by school administrations and students who donated from their allowances through a charity saving box to contribute to the children’s treatment journey. Parents also made donations in favor of our children.
Thank you to all Egypt’s students for your on-going staunch support to 57357’s children.
