Biography:
Mohamed Kamal is a pharmacist with 20+ years of experience mostly in the domains of Clinical Pharmacy, Health Informatics, Biostatistics and Clinical Research at the National Cancer Institute and 57357 Hospital. Since 2008 till now, he has used R software for statistical computing, data mining as well as modeling and simulation of capacity planning and resource utilization, infectious diseases, Health Economic Evaluation and Pharmacometrics. Kamal published 30 articles and conference presentations in the field of pediatric neuro-oncology, e-learning and clinical research informatics. Being a Health Technology Enthusiast, he participated since 2003 in the design, development, implementation and performance qualification phases of Enterprise-level solutions; covering pharmacy informatics, supply chain management, customer relationship management and most importantly Health- and Clinical Research Informatics. Currently, he is the manager of the Clinical Research Unit at the Research Department – 57357 Hospital.
