Pediatric cancer overall survival rate exceeded 70%
Dr. Alaa Alhadad, former dean of the National Cancer Institute and head of Hospital 57357’s pediatric oncology department highlights that 57357 plays a major role in raising overall survival rates of children with cancer in Egypt. Currently, the rate exceeded 70% because the Hospital adopts latest international treatment protocols.
Bone marrow transplantation is one of the treatment options that contributed to a major leap in increased survival rate in Egypt, as we are following the same methods applied internationally.
