Within the framework of the Hospital’s pursuit to adopt latest technology in the provision and administration of care to children with cancer, the Hospital’s continuous education and development administration held an educational day aiming to highlight the importance of research and bio technology in this respect; education being one of the main pillars for the success of Hospital 57357’s mission.
Representatives of the Faculties of Science and agriculture of public and private universities, namely Cairo, Helwan, Almansoura, Banha, Alexandria, Badr, Egypt and Nile universities, participated in the event. They were welcomed by representatives of 57357’s continuous education and development administration. They started the day with a presentation about the Hospital and the training programs it offers, and a discussion around the prospects of cooperation including the offering of training programs in medical and non- medical specialties.
The guests toured the Hospital’s different sections including research labs, and clinical and surgical pathology. They were impressed by the up to date technological capabilities of 57357, which will be available for trainees to gain more skills. They expressed their welcoming for all forms of cooperation with the continuous education and development administration, to train students, graduates and researchers on the latest in their fields.
It is noteworthy that, the continuous education and development administration is responsible for organizing training courses in different fields of healthcare, in cooperation with international universities and medical centers, which contributes to creating a new generation of professionals trained on latest technologies and healthcare sciences with the aim of improving healthcare quality provided to patients. Moreover, the revenue of the training courses is considered a source of income for the Hospital to contribute to the children’s treatment.
