On the morning of Thursday, July 13th, 2023 Dr. Reda Hegazi, Minister of education and technical education along with Major General Khaled Abdel Ghafar, Cairo governor, a delegation headed by Ms. Gihan Abdel Monem, deputy governor for the southern region, and Ayman Mousa, director of Cairo education authority, checked on the in-hospital set-up for high school exams held in 57357. Twenty nine students were taking exams on the Hospital’s fourth floor : biology exam for the science division, algebra and geometry for the math division , and logic and philosophy for the literary division. Exams were held in two sections, one for girls (14 students) and the other for boys (15 students).
The guests were welcomed by Mr. Ahmed Abdel Moem, head of 57357’s public relation department, Major General Mahmoud Albahi, advisor to the chief executive officer for governmental affairs, Major General Yasser Abdullah, assistant advisor to the CEO and some Hospital’s doctors.
Hegazi, Abdel Ghafar and the accompanying delegation visited the two committees to ensure that students are feeling comfortable while doing the exams.
Hegazi chatted with students, to enquire about their health condition and to encourage them.
Dr. Hegazi promised the students who were taking exams to honor them with a special celebration after they succeed. /Dr. Hegazi visited the student Mohanad Ahmed Abdelfatah who is still in sixth grade, and promised to take care of his school education fees.
The Minister thanked the Hospital’s administration for cooperating with the Ministry to enable the patients from fourth grade to high school to take their exams in private committees in the Hospital, to enable them to pursue their school education and secure their future. This falls within the Hospital’s commitment to offer children comprehensive care including the possibility to resume their studies while being hospitalized.
