Today, Monday July 31st, a delegation from New Egypt Association visited Hospital 57357 and held an entertainment event for its sick children. As they were offering them nice gifts, they were delighted to see their faces brightening up with joy and excitement .
The New Egypt delegation was headed by Major General Khaled Shafik, VP of the Association’s board of trustees, parliament member Dr. Ghada Ali, committee of parties and politicians’ youth & the regional director of New Egypt in Egypt and the Middle East, parliament member Magued Tobya, member of New Egypt’s board of trustees, Mr. Mohamed Eldawi, member of New Egypt’s board of trustees & treasurer, Eng. Mahmoud Elkomy, and a large group of the Association’s members.
The visit and the event were coordinated in cooperation with the Hospital’s public relations department and the recreation center. This event falls within a protocol signed by the Association and the Hospital to support little children in their fight against cancer.
In the recreation center, New Egypt organized entertainment shows featuring a clown, a magician, cartoon and Disney characters such as Panda and polar bear . The Association also held a workshop to teach children how to draw on gypsum, paper, and faces.
At the end of the visit, New Egypt Association offered the children in-kind gifts, and promised with more support and visits, pursuing to support children throughout their cancer treatment journey.
