Fatema, a 57357 heroine, is an 8 year old girl from Shobra Elkhaima. Our heroine was admitted to the hospital in 2017, suffering from a severe high fever and skin ulcers. After conducting tests that revealed she had leukemia, Dr. Rana Hamdi, treating physician, decided to start chemotherapy treatments immediately. Due to complications from the disease and side effects from the chemotherapy, Fatema was forced to stay in the hospital for three consecutive months. However, thanks to God and intensive care, her health condition began to stabilize and improve. In 2020, Fatema successfully completed her treatment journey. Today, Fatema follows up on her condition every six months. she carries in her heart a great hope of realizing her dream of entering medical school to become a doctor like her treating physician at 57357.
Fatema’s mother narrates: ‘I had lost hope in her survival due to her condition, but thanks be to God, the hospital’s care, the treatment, and the follow-up they provided, today I feel as if it’s a miracle. I thank God that my daughter has recovered and is now well. Now, she dreams of becoming a doctor. I hope everyone donates to Hospital 57357, because they are doing a great deed in the sight of God, that is saving the lives of many children like my daughter Fatema. They gave me back my daughter and brought life back to our family and to many other families of children who recovered thanks to God and their care.
In a conversation with Fatema, she said, “I love 57357. I feel comfortable and happy when I go there, as I play in the playroom and draw in the art therapy workshop. I love sewing and I make beautiful dresses for my doll. Everyone in the workshop loves me and plays with me. Your donation to 57357 does not only provide treatment for the children but also opens a door of hope for recovery and brings back smiles to the faces of sick children who wish to be cured and restores life to their families, just as our heroine Fatema returned to her life and family.
