The Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 celebrated the signing of cooperation protocols with 10 nursing colleges to provide training for nursing interns from various universities, namely universities of Damanhour, Helwan, Almansoura, South Valy, 6 October, Bani Swaif, Kafr Elsheiikh, Modern University for Technology & Information, Asyout and the British University. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Sherif Abuel Naga, the hospital’s CEO, and a number of deans of the colleges.
In his speech, Dr. Abuel Naga emphasized the crucial role of nursing in providing quality healthcare, stressing the hospital’s commitment to delivering excellent care and the need for continuous improvement to maintain its distinguished position.
It is noteworthy that the cooperation protocols between the hospital and nursing colleges have been in place since 2016. These protocols include comprehensive training programs for students, involving their assignment to various hospital departments. Students receive practical training and hands-on experience under the supervision of the hospital’s nursing training team, with follow-up provided by the respective colleges.
