Hospital 57357 welcomed a delegation from the Development of Egypt’s new Countryside Co. headed by Dr. Venice Fayed, advisor to CEO, Ms. Maysa Salama, manager of marketing, and a group of the company’s employees, on their first visit to the Hospital. Dr. Fayed revealed that the visit was initiated after the spread of news about the crises the Hospital is going through and its need for donations to be able to continue offering free high quality care to children with cancer. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Islam Ramadan, the representative of outreach to companies department at the 57357 Foundation.
The visit included a tour in the Hospital’s different sections, and the recreation center where they gave children gifts and toys that delighted them. The delegation visited the cyberknife building to get acquainted with the latest technology in radiotherapy which the Hospital offers to children for free and to adults for a revenue which is considered as income to the Hospital to contribute to the children’s treatment.
At the end of the visit, the delegation members expressed their happiness and pride for the medical equipment and latest technology in the Hospital as well as the Hospital’s commitment to offer children psychological care as well. In her meeting with 57357 group CEO, Dr. Fayed affirmed that this will not be their last visit to the Hospital, and they are keeping communication channels opened with the Hospital, to support and sustain its mission towards children with cancer. The company offered a generous donation to support the cyberknife services.
