Today, June 14, 2022, Hospital 57357 welcomed a delegation from Butcher’s Burger Restaurant, headed by Mr. Sherif Isawi, partner and manager of Butcher’s Burger Company along with a group of employees on their first visit to the Hospital. The visit aims to activate the Company’s social responsibility towards needy clusters of the society, on top of them children with cancer. The guests were welcomed by the representative of the fundraising department within the 57357 Foundation. The visit included a tour in the daycare, where they offered children gifts, labs, clinical pharmacy, radiotherapy department, the recreation center and the kitchen.
“I never imagined I would come across what I have seen today, I thought children are here only for treatment: I saw patients receiving treatment according to the latest protocols and techniques worldwide but it did not stop at that because these children were also given the chance to express their feelings by drawing and music in a beautiful recreation center by healthcare professionals who were concerned also about their psychological well-being. Moreover, these professionals are committed to offering them hope in a better future and as such they provide them with an in-hospital school, take care of their nutrition, and follow strict quality control measures in preparing their meals, commented Mr. Isawi. “I wish to invite everyone to support this exceptional institution so that it could continue to provide outstanding services to children with cancer, he added.
In the Hospital’s auditorium the Company held an entertainment performance featuring comedy and puppet shows where our children participated in singing with their beloved characters. Among the big number of children who were in the auditorium was Saif, who thanked Mr. Isawi for the party by expressing his delight with the entertainment day, then he took pictures with him.
At the end of the visit, the Company offered a generous donation as Sadaka Garia, and a group of the delegation donated blood. Future cooperation opportunities were discussed to support our children’s treatment and benefit from 57357’s experience in the field of food safety.
