Overview
The Clinical Research Unit includes:
- Clinical Protocol Development and Monitoring
- Epidemiology and Biostatistics
- Clinical Trials
Which ensures that all patients at the Children's Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 receive up-to-date international standard quality of care.
Provides research services including consultations for study design, sample size calculations and statistical analysis, maintains an institutional cancer registry in addition to investigation of the environmental exposures that may contribute to cancer risk)
Facilitates high-quality clinical trials within CCHE 57357 and in collaboration with international pediatric cancer centers through the efficient coordination and successful implementation of the trials. The unit is also concerned with approvals, monitoring and progress reports of trials conducted inside CCHE.
The Unit manages all clinical research and clinical protocol activities inside CCHE 57357 in addition to managing all aspects of Audit and Inspection programs of Local Authorities as well as JCI on Clinical Research Activities.
Currently we are in the process of authorization of a CRC (clinical research center) as mandated by the new Egyptian research law.
