St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital opened February 4, 1962. Since then, St. Jude has become one of the world's premier pediatric research institutions; with more than half a century in finding cures and saving children, and groundbreaking research St. Jude has helped push the survival rate for childhood cancer from 20% in 1962 to more than 80% today.St. JudeGlobal is established with the mission to improve the survival rates of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases worldwide through the sharing of knowledge, technology and organizational skills. Led by the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine, St. Jude Global created a network of interactive institutions that form a global alliance focused on reducing this gap worldwide.
