The English Language Course for Pharmacists
Program Description
English for Pharmacists is a course specifically offered to people who need to communicate effectively in English in the pharmaceutical industry. The course will equip learners with the linguistic skills and specialist vocabulary necessary to understand daily situations in a work environment. The course covers all areas included in the process of drug development: medical research and development, quality control and auditing, phases of trials, drugs safety and regulatory requirements, and drug manufacture and packaging.
Learning objectives
Throughout the course, students will learn vocabulary, practice listening, develop their pronunciation and see how the language of pharmacy is contextualized in practice.
At the end of this course, students will have learned the English they need to discuss pharmacy in many areas. They will also have improved their speaking and writing skills and increased their vocabulary in pharmacy which will increase their capacity to communicate verbally and in writing at a very professional level.
Program Duration
Duration: 40 hours / level.
Frequency: Twice a week, 2 hours per session.
Target Audience
High Intermediate proficiency level pharmacists and pharmacy students.
