Farida is now 4 years old and lives her life normally like all children
Farida’s father: my daughter started her treatment in 57357 when she was 3 months. The Hospital was a lifeline for us, without 57357, I don’t know what I could have done. Farida was born early 2019, she took her vaccinations, but we noticed that her belly was abnormally swollen. We visited a doctor who referred us to Queen Nazly Hospital in Alexandria, where they prescribed medications that didn’t improve her condition. After tests and investigations, we discovered that she had leukemia. The doctor referred us to Hospital 57357. I was afraid that admission would need special connections and was skeptic about the veracity of what they claimed in the Hospital’s ads regarding the subject, but I still took Farida to its outpatient clinics. After checkup Farida was enrolled in 57357’s waiting list. I was afraid they wouldn’t accept her, but they called us few days later, where Dr. Ahmed Emad was there for her upon admission and followed up on her case. We started treatment and found care and concern from everyone. I felt that I was unfair about the Hospital in the beginning. Farida’s condition was critical where she spent a long period in the intensive care. At one point, I shared with my wife my fears that Farida’s condition was hopeless; but thanks be to God and to 57357 doctors, nurses and donors, Farida has gained back her health, she is now 4 years old, and we come for follow up every two months.
