This accreditation is valid from 2024 to 2028 and marks a significant achievement in nursing since the accreditation is obtained from ANCC, one of the most prestigious international organizations in this field.
Hospital 57357 is considered the first and only organization in Egypt to have obtained this accreditation since 2012, This accomplishment underscores the hospital’s dedication to advanced nursing education and training. The hospital’s continuing nursing education unit is instrumental in this context.
Ms. Samah Alawi, Head of Nursing Training at 57357, says: ‘The hospital has been accredited as a continuing education provider since 2012, and we have obtained this accreditation periodically every two years from 2012 until 2016. Subsequently, the accreditation was renewed for the third and fourth time for the continuing nursing professional development unit until 2024. The primary goal of the nursing education and professional development unit is to serve the hospital’s nursing staff. However, the unit’s services are also available to other hospital staff, such as doctors, pharmacists, nursing assistants, and others, Furthermore, it offers some programs to the community for a fee, which enhances the hospital’s role as a comprehensive educational center.
The renewal of the American Nursing Credentialing Center’s accreditation reflects Hospital 57357’s commitment to excellence in nursing, and to elevate the level of knowledge and skills of nurses from competency to excellence through providing continuous educational programs and enhancing the skills of nursing staff, thus contributing to raising the level of healthcare and providing distinguished service to patients.
