Hospital 57357 welcomed a delegation from Prince Mohammed ben Fahd Association for Human Development coming from Saudi Arabia. The delegation that was headed by Dr. Iesa ben Hassan Al Ansari, treasurer of the Association was welcomed by Dr. Wael Eweida, deputy general of Hospital 57357 for operations. After welcoming the guests, Dr. Eweida presented the Hospital’s story since its inception and its mission which he described as inspiring since it depends on donations and on the support of charitable people who desire to save our children with cancer. He shared that, to realize our dream we rely on science, development, research and building cadres trained on latest techniques with the goal of reaching international recovery rates.
After touring the Hospital’s different departments Dr. Al Ansary gave a speech saying: I am delighted with my visit to 57357, and proud to be present today in this great Hospital whose technological capabilities and its well trained staff are exceeded our expectations. The Hospital carries a humane message not just for Egypt’s children but for humanity as a whole. What we have encountered here is a comprehensive mission that includes healthcare, education, research as well as social goals, which together constitute a successful system that provides comprehensive services to humanity. We wish to see models similar to 57357 out of Egypt. In our Association we have a program called “a smile for life” that takes care of children with cancer and through which we offer them material and moral support in the hospitals where they receive treatment.
