Hospital 57357 welcomed Dr. Gamal El Leithy, President of the Egyptian drug manufacturing chamber & CEO of Al Mostakbal (Future) Co. for drug manufacturing accompanied by a group of company managers.
Our visitors were received by 57357’s public relations manager on behalf of Dr. Sherif Abouel Naga the Hospital’s CEO, who gave a detailed presentation of the Hospital and its role in providing top quality care to children with cancer for free. He took them on a tour of the Hospital’s different sections including the clinical pharmacy , the research department, the data center, the labs, the recreation center & art therapy, and the Day-care. Where ever they went , they received detailed explanations from department heads about the operations of each section and offered nice gifts to the patients they met. They also visited the cyberknife unit and were informed of its important role as the most up to date technology in radiotherapy, one that targets precisely the tumor without endangering the surrounding healthy cells with minimal side effects.
Dr. EL Leithy offered medications as a donation to the Hospital in support of the children’s treatment journey and discussed with the “outreach to Corporates” representative potential ways of support to the Hospital. He expressed his delight with all the efforts exerted by staff and administrators to ensure quality care to all the children for free and without discrimination in the most healthy and sanitary environment.
