Hospital 57357 welcomed a delegation from the Egyptian Chinese University accompanied by a delegation from Hubei university for Chinese medicine. The delegation comprised of 22 students from the faculties of Medicine, pharmacy, and theoretical faculties, in addition to two faculty members and Dr. Sarah Sabry, from the Egyptian Chinese university. This visit is a part of the students’ exchange program between the two universities.
The visit provided an opportunity to learn about Hospital 57357 as an advanced model of healthcare in the Middle East. The visit included a tour of the hospital’s various departments, such as the CyberKnife department, pharmacy, laboratories, and research department. The guests were introduced to the latest medical technologies and equipment used in cancer treatment. They were really impressed by the hospital’s cutting-edge technology, saying it was just like what they have at their university in China.
The tour also included a visit to the hospital’s Art Therapy Recreation Center, where the delegation learned about the hospital’s efforts to integrate arts into treatment to support pediatric patients. The Chinese delegation expressed their delight with the Recreation Center and the children’s talents. They decided to purchase a collection of art products as a donation to support the children of 57357, with the proceeds going towards patient treatment.
The visit was coordinated between the Universities Outreach Department at the 57357 Foundation and the Continuous Education and Development Department at Hospital 57357.
