Health Awareness and Patient Education (Defense) Unit


This is the protective and preventive team whose MISSION is to provide all Egyptians, Arabs, and Africans with the necessary information and tools for prevention and early detection and guidelines to live a healthy cancer-free lifestyle. It also provides its patients and their guardians with consistent, easy-to-reach information and instructions with evidence-based practices to help them throughout their healing journey. In addition, the awareness unit is committed to spreading awareness to the entire society on how to preserve health through the “home without cancer” campaign which is delivered through booklets, TV and YouTube ads, and the provision of lectures in schools, universities and religious and governmental institutions.


Graphic Design unit

This is the team that transforms the data into an eye-catching insightful material. The Graphic Design Unit within the Learning & Development Department in CCHE 57357 designs the printed awareness and patient education material including books for children and adults, posters, flyers, to serve the department’s goal of reaching out to all segments of the society in terms of cancer awareness.


Professional Development unit

This unit is responsible for implementing training courses including the educational platform for the Hospital’s employees, through which the employee can reach any needed information. The unit is responsible for finding appropriate cost-effective training courses in a variety of fields including leadership, customer service and communication skills with patients and customers


E-learning unit

L&D department has a blended learning approach to achieve the best learning outcomes, which combines classroom face to face learning and eLearning through our eLearning platform LMS which provides recorded training sessions accessible at any place and time. In addition, this unit is fully producing eLearning programs such as communication skills, fundraising and the annual orientation program which have been accessed by all 57357 staff. Moreover, through the unit, a subscription in the Open Sesame e-learning program which includes more than 4500 courses has been tailored for each group of 57357 employees.
