Asser’s first chemo session at 57357 changed his life. Asser, one of 57357’s fighters, is 10 and a half years old and from Damietta. He entered the hospital in July 2023 and was diagnosed with blood lymphoma. Asser began his treatment journey and defied all the difficult times and pain because he had a clear goal: to recover quickly so that he could return to his studies and the swimming that he loves. At first, he was scared and sad, but his doctor at 57357 explained his condition to him and reassured him, telling him that there was a great hope for recovery if he adhered to the treatment, and that every dose he takes is a step closer to recovery. With time, he began to feel better after each dose, and hope began to enter his heart again, and his beautiful smile returned. He had many friends in the hospital, and every time he comes, he spends a beautiful time with them.
His mother says that as she entered 57357 with her son who was in a difficult situation, she did not imagine that he would receive all this care and treatment for free. But from the first day she stepped into the hospital, she found wonderful care from the doctors, nurses and staff, and great attention to every detail.
Asser also started to feel better, his smile returned, and he began to improve, to the point that the day of the dose became for him a day of play and joy.
When they asked him at school to write a composition about an important day in his life, he wrote about the first day he took chemotherapy, and how scared he was at first, but the doctors reassured him and helped him, and now he has great hope for recovery, and he dreams of becoming a doctor in the future to treat children and help them as he was helped.
I pray in these blessed days that God heals my son and heals all the children, and I say to everyone who donates to 57357, stay by our children’s side, a support for them, because with your donations my son is being treated properly and his hope for recovery grows every day, Asser’s mother added.
Our sadaka and Zakat are a support for the children of 57357, helping them to complete their treatment and achieve the dream of recovery from cancer.
