In a new step to enhance academic and research cooperation, a cooperation protocol was signed between Hospital 57357 and the Egyptian Chinese University. This cooperation includes multiple areas such as research, exchange of expertise, and specialized training programs in the fields of pharmacy, engineering, medicine, and various university faculties, through cooperation with the hospital’s Continuing Education and Development Department. It has also been agreed upon that graduation projects can be carried out by students in the hospital. This opens new horizons for practical applications and direct learning for students in a sophisticated medical environment.
The protocol was signed after two consecutive visits by professors from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian Chinese University to Hospital 57357, where an agreement was reached to strengthen the partnership and expand the scope of cooperation to include various faculties of the university, not just the Faculty of Pharmacy. This is within the framework of both parties’ efforts to develop research and training mechanisms across various scientific fields.
The cooperation will commence on January 1, 2025, and will continue for three years, reflecting the commitment of both Hospital 57357 and the Egyptian Chinese University to providing a high level of sustainable cooperation in scientific and medical fields.
The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Sherif Abouel Naga the CEO of 57357 Group and the Hospital’s General Manager, and Dr. Rasha El-Khouly, President of the Egyptian Chinese University, in the presence of Dr. Mina Tadros, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Sarah Sabry, and Dr. Nashwa El-Tantawy, from the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, in addition to Dr. Reham Atef, Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, and a number of professors from the university.
The university delegation visited various departments in the hospital and presented our children with beautiful gifts on the occasion of the New Year.
This protocol is an important step towards strengthening the role of academic education in supporting the medical sector and scientific research, and affirms the commitment of the university and the hospital to providing educational and training opportunities that contribute to the development of human resources in various medical and engineering specializations.
