Within the framework of Hospital 57357’s commitment to exchange expertise to prepare cadres capable of providing highest level of medical services, a cooperation protocol between the Hospital and the University was signed in attendance of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hiedar Ghaleb, the University president, 57357 group CEO, a group of the medical sector faculty deans in the medical sector deans and a delegation of students.
The protocol stipulates offering specialized training programs in Hospital 57357 to healthcare sector and Mass Communication Faculty students including training in labs and intensive care. The training will introduce students to practical application to prepare them for the job market via training courses and field visits through which they will acquire knowledge about accreditation standards in the Hospital’s different sections.
In his speech to students, Dr. Ghaleb affirmed that the visit to Hospital 57357 and its patients is a social responsibility with the purpose of providing moral support to children with cancer . “The goal of our visit today is to benefit from the expertise of the great Hospital, which is a source of inspiration on many levels namely the medical, scientific, and humanitarian ones”, added Dr. Ghaleb
57357 group’s CEO gave a speech where he welcomed the University president, faculty deans and students, and affirmed that since the inception of the Hospital, its administration is pursuing to provide the best quality care to patients and committed to maintaining this quality level at all costs. He stressed on the Hospital’s reliance on research and education. “Even in times of crises, the Hospital’s action of sharing knowledge and expertise never stopped, since knowledge and training are key to improving healthcare levels”, he added.
After signing the protocol, the University’s delegation was divided into groups, to visit the Hospital’s different sections such as the pathology lab, cyberknife, recreation center, clinical pharmacy and daycare.
This cooperation between Hospital 57357 and Misr University for Science and Technology falls within the Hospital’s pursuit of creating long term educational partnerships with different institutions to exchange expertise and to contribute to preparing healthcare cadres capable of improving healthcare services provided to patients.
