Hospital 57357 welcomed a delegation from the Republic of Indonesia headed by Ms. Yenni Wahid, the former President’s daughter and ambassador Lutfi Raouf, Indonesia’s ambassador to Egypt.
During the visit the delegation got acquainted with the Hospital different departments and the work processes. They visited the Cyberknife unit, the pharmacy, the outpatient clinics and the daycare. They expressed their admiration for the Hospital’s capabilities and its work system.
A dream is not impossible to realize, and it doesn’t require only money, it requires perseverance, determination and commitment, and on top of that a kind heart who seeks to serve the society, to alleviate the suffering of children with cancer, said Ms. Wahid.
The former president’s daughter visited the art therapy recreation center where she expressed her appreciation for the Hospital’s concern about the psychological well being of its children, which is just as important as its concern about medical aspects of care such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgical therapy.
At the end of the visit she asserted that entities such as 57357 guide us to the ways to serve the society and the humanity in general. “What I have seen in 57357 touched my heart before my mind as I am a mother in the first place”, she added.
