In a beautiful humanitarian gesture, “Zed” and “Ceramica Cleopatra” football teams visited Hospital 57357. They toured various departments of the hospital and their visits included meetings with sick children. The players expressed their full support for them and gave the children t-shirts bearing the logos of the two clubs, in addition to beautiful gifts aimed at bringing smiles and joy to their faces to support their treatment journey and give them positive energy and hope.
It is noteworthy that the two teams made a generous donation as a continuous charity action, sadaka jariya, in the name of each of the two clubs to support the treatment of our children and provide them with the best health care. The Ceramica Cleopatra team is keen to make generous donations to 57357’s children every time the team wins.
Captain Khaled El-Gargawi, the administrative director of the Ceramica Cleopatra team, expressed his happiness with the visit, saying: “We are very happy to be here today with the children, and we will continue our visits to them in the future, God willing. We wish a speedy recovery to all the children. Indeed, what we have seen of the level of service provided to the children is a source of pride for all of us.
On the other hand, Captain Walid Salah El-Din, the football director of the “Zed” team, spoke about the visit, saying: “We are honored to be present at 57357 today. This presence is part of our social role, and all sports teams should carry out such initiatives. We hope that the hospital will continue to develop its services and expand its capacity to accommodate more sick children.
These visits come at a time when the children need all the psychological support in addition to medical treatment, as the visits of sports teams give them a sense of hope and happiness to see their favorite players. This type of activity is an important step towards strengthening the role of sports in society, as the Zed and Ceramica Cleopatra teams show a spirit of responsibility and concern for others, which contributes to spreading a culture of solidarity and support to 57357’s children.
