Hospital 57357 welcomed Brigadier General Mohamed Abdo Abu State, kick boxing world champion who came to support our young patients on the eve of the Fitr feast.
Abu State visited the Hospital’s different sections, and was introduced to the latest technology used for treating our children namely the cyberknife, which is the latest radiotherapy technology whose effect in removing tumors is very similar to that of surgical intervention. Our guest was pleased with all the efforts exerted to offer children the best medical and psychological care.
Abu State met with our children in the daycare, and spent time chatting with them. “I was honored and privileged to visit 57357, I was not aware that we had such a great Hospital as portrayed in TV ads, said Abu State. The visit was an eye-opener on how organized and professional this institution is in offering children the best care for free and without any kind of discrimination or favoritism. It is a source of pride to see all the efforts exerted to enable the patient to go through a long tough treatment journey, while feeling comfortable and reassured that he can defeat the disease. This is my message to everyone: it is our role and duty to visit and support the children and we can do that in different ways, either by donating through the website, or by coming personally to contribute.
At the end of the visit, the champion donated blood for our children. Our gratitude to Abu State for his visit and support.
