Rofan is an 8 year old cancer fighter from Almansoura. She was admitted to 57357 three years and half ago and was diagnosed with leukemia. She embarked on a long treatment journey that she faced with courage. Thanks be to God, she could recover and go back to her normal life. Lately, during the follow up, tests showed that Rofan’s unstable condition and the relapse of the disease. Dr. Maram Farouk, her treating physician, told her mother that she needed a bone marrow transplantation, BMT. Tests were performed to Rofan’s family, and her 6 year old brother was found compatible. Today, Rofan is waiting for her turn to have BMT, equipped with hope and courage to face cancer again.
When I was admitted with my daughter the first time, I was under shock, but Dr. Farouk reassured me saying she had a good chance to recover, said Rofan’s mother. Her reassurance besides the excellent care she received from the nursing staff and everybody in the Hospital comforted me. I believe in God’s will, and I have faith that God will grant her recovery like the first time. I am praying for the recovery of my daughter and for all the children with cancer. May God bless all people who donate to 57357, to help our children find cure.
Your sadaka donation will help the Hospital to expand the BMT department and increase the BMT rooms from 9 to 27, which will contribute to granting hope to those in critical and relapse conditions.
