Pediatric Oncology Intensive Care Unit

Most pediatric oncology patients need intensive supervision and care. We have a highly equipped Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the second floor, which is available 24/7 to provide intensive care for these critically ill pediatric oncology patients.

Our scope of work includes handling

acute decompensation of various organ systems, including multiorgan system failure.

Our goal is not limited to improving outcomes and decreasing mortality. Still, it expands to improving the morbidity of malignancies and side effects of chemotherapies and radiotherapy, also limiting cross-infection and ICU-related complications. This can be achieved by implementing strict & updated ICU protocols and infection control policies. Multidisciplinary teamwork is the most important aspect of our practice, and we are committed to continuously improving performance to provide the most efficient service for our patients.
