Participants will learn to implement quality control measures, assemble reads, and annotate genes, gaining practical experience in creating robust analysis pipelines using programming languages. Additionally, the course will cover data visualization techniques in R, enabling participants to effectively interpret and present their results.

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Master advanced bioinformatics tools for a specific platform.
  • Understand the principles of quality control, read assembly and gene annotation in NGS data.
  • Gain experience in creating analysis pipelines using scripting languages.
  • Perform downstream analysis and visualize in R.
