Youssef, a 17 year old fighter, began his battle with cancer when he was 6 months old. He entered Hospital 57357 in 2007 and was diagnosed with a tumor in the bladder and testicle, and by God’s grace, he was able to overcome the disease, but after 16 years, the disease returned in the same place, and Youssef began a new treatment journey 8 months ago, during which he received chemotherapy and radiation therapy, but the tumor did not respond to the treatment and remained the same size. Therefore, the treating doctor at 57357 decided to change the treatment plan, and Youssef, with utmost courage, is still holding onto hope and fighting the disease with all his might.
Youssef’s mother says: “I have visited many hospitals outside of Egypt, and with complete honesty, Hospital 57357 is one of the best hospitals in the world on all levels – cleanliness, organization, and exceptional care. The hospital has been around since 2007, and everything in it is of the same quality, in fact, it has even improved, and it continues to provide the best medical care for children, treating them for free, and they treat the children and their families with utmost humanity and compassion.”
Chatting with Youssef, he said: “I wish for the new year that God would heal me and heal all the children who are in 57357. My hope in God is strong that I will overcome cancer and become a volunteer here in 57357 and help alleviate the suffering of the children who are in the hospital, just like there are volunteers who are helping me now. I am also studying for my high school exams (Thanaweya Amma) now, and I hope that I succeed. Pray for me that God grants me success. I wish that I would recover quickly.”
With your ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) or Zakat, Youssef and all the heroes like him in 57357 will continue their treatment journey, and their hope in recovery will grow, God willing.
